It is a matter of pride to reveal the history of this prestigious institution that it
was initially started in the year 1993 in a single room with students Numbering 07, by Swami Krishna Kanta ji Maharaj (Badi Didi Ji), who now heads the
Brahm Rishi International Mission with HQ. Pinjore (Chandigarh) India.
The school was founded after the ideals and principles of His Holiness Brahmrishi Vishvatma Bawra ji Maharaj the chief founder and spiritual Director of the internationally acclaimed
Brahm Rishi Mission whose roots are firmly entwined in Indian Soil, having its branches in different parts of the world like Europe, N. America, S. America , including almost all the states of India with the mission to inspire what is good in human personality and annihilate all that is bad by high lighting spiritual, cultural & moral values of Indianness. In April 1994, with the blessings of H.H Brahmrishi Vishvatma Bawra ji Maharaj and whole hearted dedication and devotion of Late Sh. Jagan Nath Ji Shastri, with hundreds of disciples of Guru ji and prominent citizens of Udhampur, the responsibilities of the school was honoured to Swami Chinmay Jyoti ji Maharaj.
Swami Chinmay Jyoti ji Maharaj put her heart and soul to nourish this child nursery and developed it into an ever flourishing Hr. Secondary school in year 1999 which is capable of catering to the educational, spiritual, ethical and patriotic needs of the students and the Community of this area.
In 1999 The Managing committee of the school selected Sh. Chuni Lal Sharma a retired DIET Principal known for excellent Administration in H.S Schools and the DIET as well. Sh. Chuni Lal Sharma along with Bodh Raj Sharma as Vice Principal added glory to allround functioning of the school and strived putting his experience and talent in upgrading academic, discipline side of the staff and students under the auspices of Swami Chinmay Jyoti ji Maharaj and the reputation of the school echoed far and wide in appreciable manner.
In October 2013 the captainship of the school was handed over to Sh. S.K.Gandotra, a renowed academician and retired Joint Director from Education department. The school has touched new horizons by establishing itself as one of the best school in Jammu province under J and k State Board Of School Education Jammu. In April 2015 the school was granted affiliation for senior secondary school certificate examination by CBSE under Affiliation Code 730070.It is the only in the session 2016-17, the school has switched over to CBSE pattern for all classes.
The main objective of this school is not only to spread academic or bookish knowledge but also to develop the personalities of the students capable to become useful, charactered, well awakened sons and daughters of Great Mother India capable of facing challenges of coming times.
